Advanced Freestyle Class Description
Once Skaters have completed the “Learn to Skate” (Basic 8) levels, the next step is our Advanced Freestyle Class! This program is for skaters who wish to continue with a more advanced instruction in figure skating. This class is taught by our Professional Coaches and offers both on and off ice class time.
Our “On Ice” classes offer an introduction to Jumps, Spins, Footwork, Skating Transitions and a beginning look at the International Judging System (IJS).
The “Off Ice” class time is unique to our skating school and incorporates Jump Technique, Spinner Classes, Flexibility Technique, and Ballet.
The main focus in our Advanced Skating Class is to teach quality skating while building strong basics. Whether you are a recreational skater looking to build greater skating skills or a competitive skater looking to further your training, our on and off ice classes will be a great addition to your overall skating education.
Private lessons supplement the group classes and are given on freestyle sessions. We offer a wide variety of Professional Coaches who are available for private lessons regardless of your level!
For more information on our Coaches, please go to “Figure Skating” then click on “Coaches”.
